For two years, MVP guided us step-by-step through an LMA, Option, and complex contract negotiations. Their expertise and tenacity was critical to our eventual sale. We recommend them highly to other radio professionals.

Over the last decade the amount of work processed and completed over the Internet has risen dramatically as companies increasingly take advantage of shared resources like VPNs, Intranets and common storage. With a continued move toward outsourcing of data center construction, operation, and management, and an effort by enterprises to drive efficiencies in their operations by locating critical pieces of their infrastructure on the Internet, demand for outsourced internet infrastructure will only grow. Increased regulatory demands (Sarbanes Oxley, HIPAA, etc…) for document retention and backup are another factor driving demand for outsourced hosting services. The complexity, and cost, of owning and maintaining one’s own IT infrastructure is increasing and more companies are likely to look for efficient ways to spend their limited IT budget dollars. Outsourcing is attractive as others can provide the same service less expensively due to economies of scale, and companies may not view data center construction and management as a core competency.
Having access to growth and expansion capital is critical for existing data center owners and managed service providers to plan for the future. Additional power and cooling requirements are likely to outstrip the qualifications of the typical corporate datacenter and drive business to the datacenter operators who need to be ready to capitalize on these opportunities. The growth in broadband applications (Internet video, music, games, etc…) are likely to push content owners to increasingly turn to data center operators to house their ever growing server farms. In addition, as the Internet and its various access methodologies become more robust, software’s “holy grail”, software as a service (“SAS”) will increasingly becomes a viable way to buy software. As this trend develops, software companies are likely to turn to datacenter operators for some of their increased hosting needs.
