Bill Fanning
Vice President
|
Bill Fanning joined the firm in 2006. Prior to MVP, Bill worked as an Associate in Bank of America’s (BofA) Global Corporate & Investment Bank. At BofA, he spent four years primarily involved in large corporate credit products, underwriting and structuring syndicated bank debt transactions across both the Aerospace & Defense and Forest Products industries. While at BofA, Bill was involved in a $21 billion leveraged buyout, underwriting the financing for a $700 million acquisition, underwriting and arranging the financing for two REIT conversions, and several financing arrangements, ranging in size from $100 million to $11 billion.
At MVP, Bill focuses on the traditional media, digital media / technology and datacenter spaces. In his time at MVP, Bill has worked on over 25 successfully closed transactions across those industries. In addition, he has also collaborated on numerous valuations or appraisals across the traditional media and telecom spaces for operators, investors and lenders.
Mr. Fanning has successfully passed all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) Program and earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2006. He also received a B.S. in Finance, Magna Cum Laude, from Boston College.
