Elliot B. Evers has been involved in the communications industry for nearly 30 years. He began his career as a news intern with KPFA (FM) in Berkeley, and went on to work for various radio stations around the country in different capacities.
Beginning in 1981, he practiced communications law in Washington, D.C. for approximately three years, representing some of the most significant companies in the broadcast industry.
Since co-founding MVP in 1987, Mr. Evers has overseen MVP's radio and television brokerage practice, initiating several hundred successful station sales with a total value in excess of $3 billion.
Mr. Evers is frequently invited to speak to industry groups and to the trade press on the subject of station values, including the Paul Kagan Seminar on Radio & TV Values, the Dickstein, Shapiro & Morin Seminar on Broadcast Finance, and the National Association of Broadcasters/Radio Business Report annual meetings
Mr. Evers received a B.A. in Journalism, University of California at Berkeley; a J.D. from Hastings College of the Law, University of California; and the Diplome Semestriel from The University of Paris.
