Mr. Widroe co-founded and leads MVP's Telecom Group. Prior to joining MVP, Mr. Widroe handled merger and acquisition assignments and investment banking for cable, telephone, wireless, and broadcasting companies in the U.S., Canada and Mexico at Amsterdam Pacific Securities. He has abundant experience in mergers and acquisitions, management buyouts, cross-border transactions, and business reorganizations.
In addition to his previous work at Amsterdam Pacific Securities, Mr. Widroe has extensive operating experience in both the telecommunications and health care fields. Mr. Widroe was founder and Chief Operating Officer of Apollo Communications, where he directed the acquisition, development, and operation of private cable systems in California. Mr. Widroe has also worked in product management and new product development at Pacific Bell.
