Elliot B. Evers co-founded Media Venture Partners in 1987 and oversees the firm's radio and television brokerage practice. Under his leadership, Media Venture Partners has executed several hundred successful sales of radio and TV stations, totaling more than $3 billion in transactions.
He began his career in communications nearly 30 years ago as a news intern with KPFA-FM in Berkeley, California, and has worked at various radio stations around the country. In the early 1980s, he practiced as an FCC lawyer in Washington, D.C., representing major broadcasters.
Mr. Evers frequently speaks to industry groups and the trade press on station values. He is often a featured speaker for the SNL Kagan TV and Radio Finance Summit; the annual Dickstein Shapiro Broadcast Financing conference; and the National Association of Broadcasters NAB Show.
Mr. Evers received a B.A. in Journalism from the University of California at Berkeley; a J.D. from Hastings College of the Law, University of California; and the Diplome Semestriel from The University of Paris.
