Greg Widroe co-founded and leads Media Venture Partners' telecommunications practice, focusing on private equity/debt raises, restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions for wireline and wireless operating companies and wireless spectrum.

Mr. Widroe brings years of experience in M&A, management buyouts, cross-border transactions, and business reorganizations for wireless, cable, telephone and broadcasting companies throughout North America that he accumulated while serving as an investment banker at Amsterdam Pacific Securities LLC, a boutique investment bank.

He also contributes extensive operating experience in telecommunications, notably as the founder and COO of Apollo Communications, where he directed the acquisition, development, and operation of private cable systems in California. He also worked in product management and new product development at Pacific Bell.

Mr. Widroe holds a B.S. in Agricultural & Managerial Economics from the University of California at Davis and an M.B.A. from Cornell University.
